Success of Kashmir struggle imminent: Syed Salahuddin - The Nation Pakistan

LAHORE - Hizbul Mujahideen Kashmir Chief Syed Salahuddin has said that success of the struggle for liberation of Kashmir is very much imminent now and also in the interest of India itself, because any delay in giving the Kashmiris their right of self-determination will pose a threat to India’s solidarity and survival.
He said the campaign, ‘Amn Ki Aasha’ (Hope of Peace), is, in fact, meant for influencing the current movement for self-determination and liberation of Kashmir, but the people with such heinous intention should bear in mind that peace could not be maintained through these measures, particularly when India continued to kill innocent people, violate human rights and play with the chastity of women. Salahuddin was talking in the ‘Waqt News’ programme ‘Agla Qadam’ Thursday. Answering a question, he said the struggle for independence of Kashmir was taking a decisive turn. “Every Kashmiri right from eight-year-old child to elderly man is imbued with the spirit of independence, and is on the front line.
He said the Indian offer for a dialogue was nothing but a device to trap Kashmiri leadership, as well as, Pakistan.
He claimed that New Delhi had lost control over the uprising, a fact testified by the Indian intelligence authorities.
The militant commander said the entire Kashmiri leadership, including Syed Ali Gilani, was of the view that it was useless to negotiate with India unless it agreed to accept Kashmir as a disputed territory and express readiness to sit on the table with Pakistan and Kashmiris for resolving the issue.
