KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami staged a protest demonstration against the Allahabad High Court verdict in the Babri mosque case outside the New Memon Masjid, Boulton Market, on Friday. A large number of people took part in the demonstration. Holding banners and placards, they chanted slogans against India and its court's bias judgement.
JI Amir Karachi Mohammad Hussain Mehanti addressing the protesters, said that with the verdict against the Muslims of India, Indian court proved that India was not a secular country, but a Hindu country. They said after the Babri mosque verdict, India proved herself as an extremist country. Shabab Milli Karachi's President Mohammad Yousif Munir said the whole Muslim world would not accept this biased verdict and continue protest till it was reversed.
