Ramzan begins from tonight

Ramzan begins from tonight: Ramadan or Ramzan 2010 begins from tonight, August 11. As per the Hilal committee, the first fast of Ramzan will fall on 12th August, Thursday.


It will be observed in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday whereas in India and Pakistan it will be observed from Thursday.

The Hilal committee website stated “There have been no confirmed sightings of the new crescent in the parameters of the Hilal Committee, therefore Sha’ban will complete 30 days and Ramadan will start Thursday 12th August, 2010.”
